Pigs

This project was done by Atrici B.V., an artificial intelligence consultancy. I co-founded this consultancy together with two fellow students.

We are currently working on a project for a company that wants to distinguish pig sounds between positive sounds and negative sounds. With this they want to be able to monitor the state of mind in the pigsties and thus improve animal welfare.

This project was done for my internship at Experience Data. I researched different Deep Learning model architectures on avocado images. The research was done on the AVOS mini of Experience Fruit Quality, which objectively measures the quality of avocados. During this measurement, the fruit remains completely intact.

Deeplearning fence detection

In this project, me and my group went to see if it was possible to use video data to determine whether a farmer's fence was broken or not. We used computer vision and deeplearning in Python.

This project was done for the Dutch company Vialis. They gave all the data from an intersection, which allowed us to plot an Dutch intersection of choice. The aim was to simulate the intersection as realistically as possible. To improve the traffic light logic if possible.

body transformation

For this project I made a graphical user interface with JavaFX. The software asks for all your body characteristics, such as height and weight. With this, the software makes calculations that predict how many calories you need to eat to reach your body goal.

This was my favorite course during my education. I learned in detail how a neural network works and made my own neural network library in Python from scratch.

This project was made for the datascience team of ProRail. They gave a huge dataset with lots of unusable data which first needs to be cleaned. After the cleaning process we used machine learning to determine how long a possible train failure will take.

About

Hi, I'm a Dutch student who's studying artificial intelligence at the University of applied science in Utrecht. Currently, I'm in my last year. My study is very practice-oriented. There are many real-life problems I already worked for (check my portfolio).

I'm a very curious person who's always looking for new innovations! My focus is data science because that's where I get the most energy from! I'm a big fan of the programming language Python and have used it almost daily for the past 3 years. Meanwhile, I became a fan of all the amazing libraries Python has, like Numpy and my favorite: Pandas!
